Welcome HASP!

The Arts Commission is proud to welcome the Heritage Area String Program to our organization.

The Arts Commission will serve as the fiscal sponsor of this community treasure, joining the Scarlet Cup Theater, Danville Sings and the Pieceable Friends Quilt Guild, all organizations which make art available to our citizens in diverse ways.

Below, two HASP members perform in Perryville as part of our summer concert series bringing music to non-traditional locations in Boyle County.

Thanks and good luck, Katie!

Our wonderful summer intern, Katie Woolcott, is headed off to college. We will miss her, but she is headed off on a new adventure and we are sure she will have a great future in whatever field she chooses.

Meet Julie McCullough

Indiana artist, Julie McCullough, exhibits multi-faceted look at nature and American scenes at Schoolhouse Gallery in Constitution Square now through September 13th.

“Choose your own adventure” May 20th

A plane ride with Jake Bell can be your adventure, if you have a ticket to our event on May 20th at the Clemens Caldwell House on Maple Ave.  Jake has donated a plane ride for our silent auction to help us make more arts experiences (adventures!) available to children in our county.

But, the plane ride is not the only item up for bid.  Stay tuned for announcements on Facebook over the next few days, and right up to the last minute, for a list of the adventures awaiting successful bidders.

Tickets are available at  arts@historicdanvilleky.com.  $20.00 includes a drink.  Enjoy a casual evening and help raise funds to provide adventures for others.
