Our free summer art and book kit project began in the summer of 2020 when we couldn’t gather in groups. The fun has grown since then. In the summer of 2022, the Arts Commission delivered 50 kits twice to children in Boyle County. Inspired by a young Perryville Elementary School student who died in 2021, we created a kit to build a fairy garden which focused on her love of nature. We even wrote an original story about Amelia and her brother, John, as they made a garden for a special gift. Your donation to our program will support this project and other activities for young artists in our community.
